Angelina went home the next evening after another day full off failure. It felt like there was a dark cloud over her, preventing her from being happy. She dragged herself down the hall towards her room.
“Angie, Please stay with mom tonight. I’ve got a date. She’s out in the patio.” Anna said poking her head out the bathroom and adjusting her earrings. Angelina spun around in shock, and starred at Anna. Her hair was pulled up in a bun tight bun. She wore a little black dress that fit snuggly on her slim body. She looked gorgeous.
“A date?! With who?!” Angelina asked wide eyed and shocked.
How the heck did my nerdy sister who does nothing but play chess, work, and study all day manage to find a date. Meanwhile, I’ve busted my butt all afternoon and i couldn’t even find one guy that i could hold a conversation with!
“I’m going on a date with Travis” She squealed, and blushed.. “Why do you look so surprised?” Anna asked raising a brow and crossing her arms expecting Angelina to call her a nerd.
“Nothing. It’s just – Wow. I -” Angelina paused before she said anything hurtful to Anna. “You just look amazing. I’m glad for you, sis. I hope you have fun.” She finally replied and hugged Anna.
She actually wasn’t all that glad. She felt a bit of jealously towards Anna. She wondered how could she ever be a good heir if she couldn’t find someone to start a family with? She walked out to the patio and sat by her mother who was gazing up at the stars in the night sky.
“What’s wrong, tensor?(Darling)” Isabella asked without taking her eyes off the stars.
“Nothing..” Angelina lied, and looked up as well to avert Isabella’s gaze.
“Ah. Come on. I know my daughters, and i know when something is wrong.” She smiled warmly, and placed her old wrinkled hand on Angelina’s lap. Angelina felt her eyes beginning to water.
“Mom.. I accidentally found your will.” She said trying to fight back the tears in her eyes.
“I really think you made the wrong choice! You should’ve chosen Anna. I don’t think, i could ever bring myself to love another man! Not after all I’ve been through. I really want to continue your legacy, but I’m just having such a hard time trying to find someone to love. I’m really trying, but -.”
“Angelina, sometimes love comes to us when we least expect it, but sometimes we don’t realize that it’s been there all along. I’m sure someone out there is looking for you. I just hope that when that person comes around – you don’t let him pass you by.” She paused and looked up to the sky once more, and smiled. ” I’m not worried about you. I know that you will do fine, dear.” She said patted Angelina’s lap. ” Now, stop your blubbering and help your mother to bed?”

Oh. My. God… I practically fell out of my chair! Heh, and about halfway through I was thinking how much I liked Anita and wished she’d stay in the legacy forever and marry Angelina- no joke! And lo and behold, it actually did happen! You just completely made my day!
LMAO. No way! I really tried to find her a boyfriend, but she had a want that said “Ask Anita if Single”, and well. The rest was history. Having children is going to be the new issue LOL.

Travis and Anna met through a chess match, and later on he switched his career to Medicine. So, since they were co-workers, it wasn’t long until she was comfortable enough with him. She also wanted to kiss him, so i was like eh, what the heck?lol

I’m just wondering how she’s going to reproduce now. I’m not sure if the same-sex pregnancy mod is allowed and adoptions don’t count because they’re not part of the bloodline.
Will you have Angelina “cheat on” Anita with a guy and pretend that they had both agreed to a sperm donor?
P. S: Is Angelina over-emotional? Killing herself because she can’t find a guy seems a bit dramatic to me… but maybe it’s just because I’m not much of a fan of Angelina. Anna reminds me much more of me, haha.
I’m not sure how I’m going to go about reproducing, yet. After Anita moved in she turned into an elder almost immediately. What the heck? I thought she was Angelina’s age. Oh well.
Angelina isn’t over-emotional. She was just overwhelmed by the whole “Heiress”title. It is really hard for her because she always compares all the men she meets to Hal and Antoine. It doesn’t help that when she did show interest for someone, they turned out to be Married.
She also felt Jealousy towards Anna; She did not like the fact that Anna was able to find her soulmate effortlessly. It just all goes back to her childhood. She had never really felt as if she had “worth”, since her father so easily tossed her aside, and how Antoine just wanted to use her as a bet. I feel bad for her. I wish i could figure out a way to snap her out of it.

Wow, that was so not what I was expecting. I like the twist of Anita and Angelina. And, if your comment is true that Anita is an elder, I think it makes sense for Angelina to find…doners. The trick is to get them to donate without getting committed.
Nice twist Mari!! I am so glad Angelina found love. It makes sense for her character too with all the resentment toward Hal and being so emotionally abused by Antoine. As for the problem with children, yeah, females don’t have to move the mate into the legacy house, so just get her pregnant off the lot and for your story sake use the “donor” angle. Great story!!
